Dave is a native southern Californian who grew up in Laguna Beach , the OC village of performing and visual arts. Music has been a part of his life since grade school, and yes he was a band geek, but soon he left the brass section and began to learn through college what his real passion was. Performing. The performing experience began 25 years ago for Dave and has taken on many forms, from garage bands that never made it out of the garage to show tunes at a dinner theater in Newport Beach . Vocals are his main thing but along the way he picked up keyboards, acoustic and electric guitar and even some drums. “We are definitely not perfect, and so the name Factory Seconds” he said of his current venture but “Playing with your buddies the music you love is the best thing I have ever done”. Dave is not the typical Rock and Roll lead singer, he has been married to the same girl for 21 years and has two kids and even helps out at his son's little league field umpiring games, but every chance he gets he's back up on the stage trying to figure out how to share the music that inspires him with anyone who has an ear to hear.
